Ropey Soles

Since the XIIIth century in France, espadrilles were used as footwear for the King of Aragon's foot soldiers handmade out of flax.

Ropey Soles continues to support centuries of espadrille production and traditions by manufacturing their modern version in Mauléon, France.

The canvas is designed and laser printed by young designers and then paired with a jute and rubber sole.
